Hey, the Rangers of Rokane can always use more recruits. Can I count on you to send some invitations to people who aren't already registered on this site? I'll tell you what: if you send someone an invitation, and they register, I'll give you 200 XP Tokens! Just make sure you properly invite them, using the invitation system on this site, so that you can get your prize.

Do you want to help? I would really appreciate it, and I'd even buy you a prophecy from the the Oracle if you were to do it for me. If you're in, here is what you have to do: simply buy a "Troll Poison Potion" from Wizard Willy at his shop, Wizard Willy's Tower. When you buy it, you will pay for it via PM, so make sure you include in the message that you are buying it for the qyest called "Troll Hunters."

Hey, we're friends, right? And that's great, but...don't you think you need some more friends? Try to get one of your buddies to start playing RoR, then you can actually officially make him your "ally" on the site! Head up to that little tab that says "Rangers" then simply find his profile and send him a friend request, and bam! You're allies!

Welcome to the Rangers of Rokane. There is no initiation required. No catch. That is not who we are. We are simply a peace bond that keeps every ranger and ranger brotherhood across Rokane in allyship. However, you do gain some benefits from being a Ranger of Rokane. You get a CLASS and 50 free XP Tokens.
What's a class, you wonder? A class determines what type of ranger you are. it can give you special advantages that other rangers don't have. Here are your options:
Medic
Usually, people have to pay to have their physical wounds and injuries healed. But if you know someone who's a medic, you don't have to. All a medic must do to heal someone is pray to Locksaun, the great god of Flesh and Blood in Rokane.* With Locksaun's approval, you can heal anyone's physical, or external wounds - not diseases or poisons - except for YOURSELF. You cannot heal yourself. On the other hand, you can offer your services in the "Involvement" board, in exchange for XP Tokens. Healer
A healer is the same as a medic (see above) but can only heal poison and disease. They cannot heal themselves, and to activate thier power, they must pray to Eelore, the goddess of Health in Rokane.* See full info on how to use Healing powers in the Healer reference thread.
Mage
For a mage, spells come natural. In other words, you get a 50% discount for every spell you learn. See more info on Mages in the Mage refrence thread. This class is good for someone who uses the "magic" feature of RoR a lot.
Alchemist
If you are the "alchemist" class, you get a 50%-off discount on every potion you buy. Learn more about this class in the Alchemist reference page.
Priest
A priest cannot catch disease, and can wield the power of the Gods of Rokane.* If he pleases the Gods of Rokane, they may let him automatically complete a quest. But if he displeases them, the Gods might punish a priest, by stealing potions/spells/XP Tokens from him, or maybe giving him a disease/poison/an injury. Thief
If a thief class ranger prays to Grappeline, the god of gree in Rokane, he may be able to pickpocket and loot people, resulting in him getting random, small XP Token boosts. Learn more about Thieves in the Thief reference page. Remember that once you have chosen a class, you won't have an opportunity to change it until you become a Ranger of the North, at which point you may change it ONCE. So choose very, very, very wisely. To select a class, simply reply to this post with the name of the class you wish to be.

IMPORTANT - This Forum

- Read the prologue BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE ON THIS WEBSITE! If you want to understand the campaign at all - no matter WHICH story you are following - in fact, if you want to understand this WEBSITE at all, you will have to read the prologue!!!
- Explore, and become familiar with the site, before you start Chapter 1. It is a good idea to not even begin reading Chapter 1 until you are Level 1.
- Read all the chapters in order! This one seems obvious, but please do it!

A good idea would be to try some quests. It's recommended that you are at least Level 1 by the time you start reading.

Everytime a new ranger comes into place, we take it upon ourselves to openly welcome them into our alliance. Ah, we meet again, ranger. I take it you are in need of a medicine or antidote of some kind? Take a look at what I have to offer.
1. Common herbal medicine
This medicine will heal most minor illnesses, like the common cold, the Flu, and things of the sort. If you purchase this, and you have any illnesses as of current, they will be treated if applicable to the Common herbal medicine. If not, or if you are not currently ill, I'm afraid that you've just wasted some tokens, my friend!
Price: 10 XP Tokens
2. Antidote
This antidote will terminate ANY and ALL poison in your body. It isn't something you can stok up on. Here is the deal: you pay, I heal. So only buy if you are CURRENTLY poisoned.
Price: 15 XP Points
3. Strong medicine
This medicine, though expensive, will heal ANY disease. Even horrible, seemingly untreatable diseases, like Black Plague, Ibola, Mysterious Virus, and more.
Price: 50 XP Points
How to purchase items from the Pharmacy
Reply to this topic with ONLY the title of the item you wish to purchase. No more, no less. Then, the appropriate ammount of XP Tokens will be taken from you, and the medicine will work its magic.

1. Request a new board
Is there a board in the "Rokane" tab that is missing? One that we would do well to add? Send me a PM via Pigeon Port. You MUST title it this: "Smith Board Request". In the message, describe what the board would be like and why we should add it.
2. Request a new page
Is there a whole page that we ought to have but don't? Send me a PM at the Pigeon Port. You MUST title it: "Smith Page Request". In the message, give me all of the details, and try to convince me why I should forge this page. I am not an easy Manimal to convince.
3. Request a new feature
By feature, I mean anything other than a board or page, that falls under the category of "technicalities." Title it: "Smith Feature Request". That title EXACTLY. In the message, tell me what it is you want to add and why.
